Logo Generation
Rotors are evolved using GLMakie.jl's script rotor_hamil_order3_simple.jl and a mp4 video file is saved.
When looping such evolution, due to difference in initial and final states of systems, there is an abrupt pause.

To overcome come this, final state is blended into a plain image. As well as, a plain white image is made to mogrify into initial state when system is evolved. This function is achieved using ImageMagick wrapper called gifblender.

The text "Camphor Dynamics" is overlayed on top using ffmepg.

Final logo.gif is optimized using gifcisle's optimization algorithm.
Edit: After extensive conversion, avif format suits the purpose in terms of compression. All the gifs are converted to avif before getting published on the cyberspace. Following compares the size of generated files,
$ du -h *.
336K sync_phase_plots_lib.avif
2.3M sync_phase_plots_lib.gif
1.8M sync_phase_plots_lib.mp4
These are put together in a shell script, seamless_gif.sh.
Usage,
# for converting either *.gif/*.mp4 to .avif
./seamless_gif.sh <output_file_from_GLMakie_script>
# Adds transistion between first and last frame, converts to .avif
./seamless_gif.sh <output_file_from_GLMakie_script> "blend"
# Adds Logo text "Camphor Dynamics"
./seamless_gif.sh <output_file_from_GLMakie_script> "blend" "logo"
